Men's Ministries

As men called by God, we believe it is essential for every man to have opportunities to come together with other men of God for true fellowship, to receive real encouragement, to challenge and be challenged, and to pray and  support one another. In order to become like Jesus, we must be around other men who have a like desire for God. This happens on the following occasions:

1. Weekly Prayer Meetings Just for Men. All men are welcome to join us as we enter into His holy presence and seek the heart of God together as one. Learning to pray effectively takes practice and commitment. It causes our hearts to fill with more love and compassion for God and others. We meet every Monday night (except holidays), beginning at 7:15PM.
2. Weekly Bible Studies & Discussions. Small groups of men meet regularly on Sunday evenings to read and study God’s word for sound spiritual growth. It is through these times of sharing that we can appreciate our uniqueness and increase in our knowledge of God. These studies are open to all men – whether one is able to attend on a regular or irregular basis. Each class is independent and not progressive.
3. For Men Only. If you are looking for a safe place where you can discuss men’s issues freely, this is the place for you.  The For Men Only (FMO) is a small group Bible study where men discuss and work through men issues, specifically sexual purity.
4. Monthly Fellowship Breakfasts. It can be a natural tendency for many men to become isolated with few or no close male friends.  So, September through June, we have a special breakfast time that gives us opportunity to meet other Christian men to connect with and find the support and inspiration we all need in order to stay on fire for God.  We have a time of food, fun and fellowship with one another, and we leave knowing that we are further prepared to live out our Christian witness in the midst of a dark world.  Breakfasts are 7:30-10:00AM on the second or third Saturday of the month.
